If i take my steering box off temporarily, do i need to buy a new spacer for it? Im building a 1/4 inch plate to go on the outside of the frame there and i will need to remove the bolts for the box... So what should i do assuming its broken now and i dont know it? from what im seeing the aftermarket ones are bigger which is what i dont want because of my plate on the other side. I can get bigger bolts and everything but its there an alternative to the JCR steering box spacer?

If by bigger you spaces the box further away from the original position I don't think the jcr one does that, it's stronger than factory but does the same job
I think this is what your getting let me know if I am dead wrong
If its broken replace it

Ahh well i ordered it lol as far as i can tell its not bigger just a replacement thats better. guess i assumed... With the 1/4 plates im adding to the backside where the bolts go, i'll probably just get some bigger bolts and shove em through

Oh, did you order the hardware along with the jcr plate, if not you'll want to replace the old bolts anyways

No cause i think i want to get some bigger bolts than what they offer. Im also hoping that my current spacer is cracked and that when i install this it helps tighten up my steering and get rid of some DW but i doubt it. I read in an older thread that it does help tighten the steering up but idk yet...
