Default Steering box bracket

Anyone use these? Are they worth installing? Just looking at them and wonder if they actually do take out play from steering or any other benefits they provide.

please let me know if you habe one or use one.

thanks

Yes, people use them. They aren't meant to take play from the steering. They are a brace that will keep you from pulling the bolts on your steering box through the frame. If you have loose steering you likely have other issues

Loose steering could be anything. The factory brace behind the steering box may be broken, or the box itself has too much play in it. Even the steering shaft. Could be something suspension related...control arm bushings, balljoints, etc. A steering box brace wont do anything if the suspension has slop in it. Check it all.

Not everything is listed here, but you get the idea.
