A word of advice, take loose the screws holding the lower dash on (3 on each side of the ashtray, then 1 a piece underneath on each end) before you go to sticking speakers in there. You'll have the option of actually having something solid to ziptie the speakers to (when i installed some 6.5's it was necessary to take that part of the dash loose for the passenger side speaker to fit).
On the drivers side i used the metal frame behind the lower dash panel and a random hook i found above the kick panel to secure the speaker.
On the passenger side i used the grating of whatever the hell that box for the heat is (never can remember the name of it) and a wire loom my fingers found pretty high up in the dash that seemed very sturdy. The passenger side speaker really wont need much holding it in.. once you put the screws back in the dash its pretty snug in there, the only mounts you really need are to keep it from moving around.
If you need any help with it (although i doubt you will) feel free to ask.

Theres plenty of good speakers out there, IMO i like Kicker DS's for the sound/price/durability of them. Much much better than other speakers in that price range. I think walmart actually started stocking them, but i'd still buy them off ebay instead..

Looks neat I may have to grap anpther set of 5 1/4 speakers and put them up there so I've got 6 speakers total! Do you know where those factory plugs go? Are they just spliced into the two front speakers?

The plugs i used were from the factory tweeters that came with the infinity package, which is split from the wires for the door speakers in the jeeps factory harness. You MAY have the same plugs as i used, however i'm not positive of anything.. I'd say im pretty sure you would, the best way to find out would be to look.

Wouldn't they be in parallel? I have the factory upgraded sound system and two tweeters are up in the dash. I've recently unplugged them because they can't keep up with my door and hatch speakers and add fuzz to the mix. If it was a series, unplugging or cutting off the connector would mean the door speakers would cease to work. This isn't the case my door speakers still work meaning it's in parallel..
