So far the guys I have ran into love it... Not as loud as loud as others... Stronger larger pin design (the weak link on others) and some other stuff...

Still resembles a lockrite in my opinion. I broke all the springs and pin out of one of those on my chevy. The powertrax has huge pins compared to the spartan that are actually made into it and not removable.

Removable would be better though... U can replace just the pins if they bust...

Spartans are T!Ts, I run in front and rear, daily drive and they are great. I beat the **** out of them and no prob. They are quiet on the street, but I do not have full time 4wd.

Springs are easily replaceable, all are accessible with diff cover off.

Ur not finding many replies in here cause this is oem chat, lockers are not oem, they are aftermarket., that would be advanced chat. 10K posts and you don't know this?

use the search and you will find 100's of threads on spartans. I know cause I have given feedback in many of them...

I'd rather have pins the size of my thumbs then have to replace them at all. That's just me

I dont think talking like a smart is a good idea when the person has been on this forum for alot longer (post and input wise) then you.

But I am glad that you put some input into this locker.

One of our installers at work put some in a TJ and he said the spartan was the easiest locker he has ever installed and he has been doing that for 10+ years.

08/31/2009... thats when this was posted... LONG before there ever was a advanced tech section... ALSO why there was no replies because at this time they just came out... so with only 38 posts you should wait till your smarter to talk trash... and wait even longer (till you might have my slightest respect) to talk trash to a mod... on a forum that is not what we are here for... and not the attitude we like here

LOL this thread was made BEFORE we had a advanced tech section. Look at the date.
Thread moved.
