So I have searched the net high and low and can't determine the best spacer for putting 2013 rubicon argent wheels on my 2000 XJ. The tire size that I'm mounting are BF Goodrich KM 255/75/17. Can anyone share some input on this?

I've put quite a few sets on xjs. I've tried 1.25" spacer on most jeeps I've built that had 3-3.5" lift. On the most recent one i built ir had a 4.5" lift so i tried a 1.5" spacer and I think with the added height this helped with the stance.
My black jeep I'm building will be running the same wheels you are referring to and I'll be running a 1.25 up front and 1.5 out back because the track width of the front axle is just a tad wider and I think it will look just perfect.
Here are some pics to give you an idea. This one with a 3" lift and 1.25" adapters and with 255/75/17s MTs

This is about 4.25" lift with 1.5" spacers.
If you want any more info I have a lot more pics of the other style rubicon rims on xjs but they are not jeeps that I personally built, so I can't offer any info as too the adapter width.

This is the combo in first picture I'll be running on my current build. It will be with the aforementioned 1.5 and 1.25 wheel adapters. I may start out with the 255/75/17 (32x10) but my end goal is 285/75/17 (34x11). Ill be running 4.5" lift and stock flares. This isn't my jeep but mines black with the same rim and smoked lenses. Love the rubicon rim/tire combo on the newer XJs.
Second pic is 4.5" lift with blacked out 1st gen rubicon wheels. Clean look.

What lift kit did you use here? I'm using a rubicon express 3.5" and wondering if you used the same here.

Looking at my options for spacers I'm seeing rugged ridge and spidertrax only offer a 1.25" spacer and rough country offers a 1.5" spacer. I'm not a huge fan of rough country so is there another supplier for the 1.5" spacer that you know of?
