I love my XJ but I would love it a lot more if I could sit up straight or my knees were not in the dash. Does anyone know if there is any kind of replacement seat that gives you more room.

im 6'5" what i did was modified my own after market brakets and mated them to the oem brackets. you can also look into zj seats also. me I removed my head linner and also put a tilt wheel in my 93 xj

They make seats that are 4 inches taller and 4 inches wider but I wouldn't say those would help you any.

If I were you, and I'm glad I'm not, I would simply modify the seat brackets.

You can move the mounting points farther back and shorten them a couple inches.

Or you could just remove the drivers seat and drive from the back seat. Either way.

They make brackets that do this in a wrangler. They don't lower the seat but move it back 4 inches. It's doable...

I know that ZJ seats bolt in. I don't know if it would help your situation, but I do know that they're 1000% more comfortable.
