Default Snorkel idea

Has anyone seen this kinda snorkel in action. What components are needed besides the obvious. Write ups?

You can either make your own snorkel with pipping you buy and bend at home, or have it manufactured. All you need to do is cut a whole in the hood with rubber around it to keep it from sutting the pipe. Also remember you have to take it off to open your hood. Just make one long pipe or connect a few together, connecting is faster and cheaper but less water proof. When you attach it to the intake, make sure to use rubber seals that are really tight to keep it water tight. I also reccomend a box for the filter, even that high it can get hit with dirt when you offroading and clog the filter. Hope that helps.

Ya I noticed that when opening the hood it might be weird and if it rains your filter will get soaked

I guarantee you could build anything you want from Donaldson components. Jot down some P/N's and find a distributor.

Any air intake component you could ever want.

You'd probably need to either make a filter housing or change it often.

A better look at it https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater Looks like drain flex pipe and a air filter shoved on the end of it.

I'd say it's a good idea, put an air filter wrap on it so it won't get dirty as quick
