How do they respond to jumps? Have you got your jeep off the ground?

If your gonna be doing some jumps then youd be better off with a resi.. Go for the 7100s.

if you plan on airing out your piece, you need limit straps and bumpstops first.

This. I am 100% sure the shocks are up to it, but there are other things you need to do before hitting jumps. If you are desert bashing, go with fox 2.0 5/8 shaft or the 7100's.

I was assuming he was aware of other things necessary to hit jumps.
Of course..
If he doesnt have appropriate bumpstops, axle beef, and something to limit his travel.

Hey I saw that it's been a while since I read this thread - wondered how you made out with the shocks?

run 7100 short body reservoirs up front and 5150s or 5100s in the rear with leaf sprung suspension in the rear the 7100s aren't really going to make much more of a difference in what ive seen

Still riding the same shocks. Starving student budget. What's weird is that the shocks have no apparent leaks and I took each of them off and they were still resisting movement like they did when they were new. They're not charged.
