Default slip yoke info needed

Is there a longer slip yoke to replace the OEM one on my '96 XJ? Been hearing a driveline noise that occurs while driving but only when there is slack in the driveline. So did some N/Ping today and took some measurements at the slip yoke. OAL of the output shaft splines is 3.25". Exposed splines with driveshaft installed is 1.25" leaving 2" of splined shaft in the slip yoke. I can feel a bit of side to side play. All else with the driveshaft and t/c output shaft is fine. Pinion angle is good. Thinking maybe there's not enough shaft in the yoke? It's a 231 t/c and I'm lifted 2 1/2" in the rear.

And here's the picture I reference... Just watch out for the Rugged Ridge / Omix part the other guy had issues with in the post following that one...

YJ yoke measures 5-11/16" as shown. A XJ yoke measures 5-7/16"

I'm not sure if a 1/4" of extra length is going to help. That still leave me with 1" of exposed spline. Be nice to find one that was too long that I could cut to fit. I've seen references to one from GM but all of the links to it are too old to open.

Looking for a front driveshaft for the rear. What years did the XJ's come with the high pinion D30 or will a low pinion one work? My '96 XJ is an automatic. The closest salvage yard around here is 2hrs away. Going to see if "either one" has one. If not can anyone recommend an online source?
