It cantilevers off the bumper where there is a gap, just slides in, secure and strong. 3/4" plywood, one side carpet the other vinyl.
There is a false floor in these pictures also. Just a scrap piece of plywood, hinged and covered in carpet. 1" x 5" uprights.

I did that. in the process of redoing it because i got new speakers and a 5 channel amp and stuff.

also have a prime 4x4 switch panel which replaces the ash tray in the center console. i love it.

After my dash got all torn up I made my own. Just wood, primer and covered in plasti-dip.

Thanks. C-HERO-kee is where I was going with that. I also did the back seat removal tool box thing and turned my cab into a place to sleep. I do a lot of camping in bear country so no tent for me.

Custom shift ***** are always cool, esspecially if you make your own.





Simple way to use otherwise wasted space inside the spare rim:
