These things are starting to come off and are looking ugly... Any idea how to get the adhesive off nicely and cleanly without messing my paint up? Im going to bedline up to where im pointing in the second pic...

I use what they call pinstripe removal wheels. They look like a big round pencil eraser that go in the end of a drill. Takes it right off. Won't hurt the paint either. Although sometimes it will flatten it out a bit and you'll need to buff the shine back

Use the 3M stuff, or aerosol Goof-Off works good. They're hard to find, I think Snap-On is the only one who carries it, but they make a rubber wheel that goes on the end of a drill that's an adhesive and decal/pinstripe remover that doesn't damage the finish. Eastwood might carry it also...

I used goo-gone on mine... didn't mess up the paint at all... as said before it might have slightly dulled the clear coat.. but you are going to cover over it with bedliner anyways...

I used a heat gun to soften up the glue (Only a little! And mostly on the plastic itself) then a screwdriver with some thick tape on the end to pry it off, no scratches, can't even tell I did it... and Goof Off to get the crud off, takes a little while but it comes off.

any adhesive remover from any auto parts store will soften up the old glue nicely. a trick i use after that is taking a box cutter razor blade and rounding off the sharp edge on smooth concrete like in your garage. then you can use the blade on the paint after the adhesive remover soaks in and scrape it right off really easy with out any damage (as long as you are careful)

The 3m adhesive remover won't hurt the clear coat. Another trick is to use fishing line under the trim after you have it lifted. DON"T use anything sharp or you'll regret it!
