Default Should I swap the drag link to top of pitman arm

This is how my steering is set up and I’m getting a wobble at 55 would it help if I put the drag link on top of the pitman arm ?

Well, looks like the angles work better (from diagram below). However, no, you really don't want to do that. Your heim at the pitman arm is already pretty cocked over at ride height. If you move that up higher it will be close to maxed out and it will bind when the passenger side droops. I'm guessing you're asking this question because you're getting some bump steer. Moving the drag link up would probably solve that but the angle of your drag link and track bar would still be an issue because they're relatively steep causing greater lateral motion through the range of travel.

How much lift are you running?

The "correct" thing to do here would be to move your track bar up to an over the axle mount. Unfortunately, there is not much space to do so. Most OTA track bar mounts put the axle mount inboard of the spring, resulting in a track bar that is much shorter than the drag link. Many people just run it because they can get their angles pretty flat but you will still get bump steer, especially at the extremes of your suspension travel. I think the general consensus is a flat short track bar is better than a steep long one (assuming it's angle matches the drag link in both situations) but if you do some searching you will find some builds where people have gone through great lengths to have the two match in angle and length with great results. What you put in is what you get out.

It doesn't look all that bad but do you know what kit your steering is? With that bend in the drag link you should be able to flip the tie rod above the knuckle and drag link below, like this:

If you have a kit that was meant to be an OTK setup, flipping it should improve your geometry.
IMO you should also have some oversized washers on the outside of your links in case of a heim joint failure.

It’s a cav fab crossover steering with a 5.5 inch lift do you think a drop pitman arm would be beneficial ? I’m not concerned so much about the bump steer but it has gotta mean wobble at apox 55 the whole front end shakes and I’m trying to narrow it down

The difference in angle won't cause bump steer, you have other issues somewhere. At that lift you should be considering going OTA with your track bar if you're going to make any major changes.

Look straight on at your front end while someone puts pressure on the wheel from one side to the other. Watch for play at connects. My axle side track bar bushing was giving me some issues and after looking at it while the steering was moving it was obvious to see it had slop.

How tall are you lifted? That heim has a lot of travel. Over 2 years on top of the pitman arm with my Cavfab steering and I was dropping coils until I bought softer/taller springs for the same lift (4"s). It doesn't hurt to try it out. I think at 4.5"+ you should look at going over the knuckle.

Hey guys, I'm new to XJs. I have a 97 Sport that's got a 4 1/2 in Rubicon Express full suspension lift. Today, I put on the Cav Fab high clearance crossovers that the previous owner left for me. I followed their video, but it gave me some mean wobble on these country roads. I see a lot of folks are doing better with parallels by going over the pitman arm- but it looks like I don't really have the room to do that because of the braided lines in the second photo.

I need an alignment and the tires are unevenly worn, but I understand that doesn't account for wobble that starts at 50 mph and stops at 10 mph. Everything else looks tight and in good repair... only difference is the Cav Fab setup and me taking it out of alignment just a little. What do you guys recommend? I'd like it to be a daily driver.
