Here is what I have...

2000 XJ, 4.5" in front, 4.5" with 1.5" shackle lift in the rear, totalling 6" in the rear.

I have installed my SYE and have now started shimming my axle. I have a tom woods driveshaft to go in when it is all set.

The 1.5" shackles have given me a bit of the angle that is needed, due to them lowering the rear of the leaf springs, essentially rotating the pinion up. I have also installed 4 degree shims and that brought the front up even more. It seems very close to where it needs to be. I would say within 1
degree or so. I was curious how spot-on this really needs to be? Over time as the springs sag and things begin to settle, won your pinion angle change? It seems like there has to be some sort of fudge factor built into this. Your rear end angle will not stay the same over time. Just curious if I need to worry about about getting it exactly spot on, its pretty darn close.
