setting control arm for 3 link
ok so i just bought the new iron rock 3 link rock link kit. in the direction they give you measurements for 5.5 and 6.5 inch lift. i just went from a rustys 4.5 lift and added a 1.5 rear shackle and rubicon express 5.5 coil springs in the front to ditch the 4.5 coil springs. after installing the 5.5 coil spring i needed something to level it out because i did like the little but of rake it had. To fix this i removed the coils and ditched the factory space and added one from fat bob garage. there direction say if you remove the factory space and add there 1.5 spacer its lift it 1.5 inches and if you kept it that is adds 2 inches.
my question is with the 5.5 coils and 1.5 space in i feel like it added an extra inch? that make any sense to you guys?
the iron rock kit says in the direction what you should set your upper and lower control arm to for a 5.5 and 6.5 inch lift so I'm not really to sure what i should set them to? should i set them for about 6 inches of lift and figure out the middle number between 5.5 and 6.5?
