It's still in the dyno testing stage, so nothing that I can share right now. Some minor tweaking and improvments are being made before we release it to the public, but it's getting close. We are also adding some material to a couple of areas on the casting.

Haha!! Yes it is! And for that reason we have a shot at getting approval to do an intake for it now.

Pricing has not been released as of yet. I'll post it when it is.

The head should be available the first 1/4 of 2015.

It's good to know that Edelbrock is coming out with a head and may develop an intake manifold, but it doesn't earn my money without dyno results. I'm especially interested in seeing results with long tube headers and a mild cam.

To complete this project we need a vehicle for emissions testing!

We are looking for a 05-06 Jeep with a 4.0L, and about 50K or less miles on it. This will need to be a local (CA.) vehicle and we will need it 4-6 weeks. We will install the Cyl. head and then take the vehicle to the C.A.R.B. for emissions testing.

What do you get for letting Edelbrock use your Jeep?
You will get a brand new production aluminum Cyl. head installed for free. You pay nothing!
We will also supply you with a loan car to use while we have your Jeep.
Not a bad deal for someone with the right vehicle!!!

If you have that vehicle and are willing to let us use it for the emissions testing PM me with your vehicle info and we'll go from there.

Thanks
Dennis

I know someone with a TJ under 50k, but no where near CA. I'm impressed that the 4.0 is getting this kind of aftermarket support.

Well, it's supposedly available at summit racing with a 2 week lead time...

Be ready to fork over $1500

Here it is on Edelbrocks website.
