HI recently purcased an xj .the drivers seat is past its best have spent hours serching internet forums etc etc hear in the uk.i have been told that zj seats will fit is this right ?
I recently made the upgrade myself and could not be happier. You need to remove the seat from your XJ and then remove the seat mounting hardware from the XJ seat and ZJ seat. Then bolt the XJ seat mount to the bottom of the ZJ seat and put the seat back in, unless there is something different across the pond the holes should line right back up. I did both in less than an hour.
If you have the ability to weld you could make a way to mount a different seat. That's what I did and couldn't be happier you can basically put whatever seat you want. And if needed you can make it so your seat can go back farther for more leg room.
