Default the same or no?

Does the '95 cherokee sport and '93 grand cherokee share the same drive trains? motor is shot in the grand but has the full running gear in perfect condition. Ex: Trans, Transfer case, drive shafts, axles front and back. Might pick up the 93 just for the head ache of swapping the 95 to 4x4.

No. The 93 ZJ did come with the AW4 trans but only with the 4L, V8s had the 42RE and all ZJs after 93 had it. Front axle is a low pinion D30, XJ is high pinion. Rear is a D35 that is coil sprung, XJ is either a D35 or 8.25 and is leaf sprung. ZJ could have one of 3 t cases, most common is the AWD NP249 which is junk, the NP242 and uber rare NP231. XJs did use the 242 and 231 but if it's the V8 version of ZJ the spline lengths are different as are the drive shafts.
