running with no thermostat
Can it be done? my cherokee is running at 230 and I already flushed the system and replaced the water pump along with the thermostat. Any ideas or comments on running without a thermostat until the cooler months? Thanks!

Caracticus Potts The Mod
you can run without it, but it's purpose is to warm the engine up to operating temp quickly. Removing it will not stop the engine from reaching the 230 mark or higher, you either have a partially clogged radiator or a head gasket getting ready to rear it's ugly failed neck
