Picked up a set of 06+ rubicon rims yesterday with 255/75r17's. Rugged Ridge adapters will be here tomorrow. Will post follow up pics.

HEADS UP! I did the same thing on my '00 and no one had told me the rear studs would be too short. I had to get new studs for the rear as the spacers I had only let the lug nuts grab 2 teeth. Not the end of the world but definitely not just a clean wheel swap. I've got the part number for the stud somewhere, lemme know if you need it.

Dorman 610-234 probably. the same ones used for the disc brake swap. Did you use rugged ridge spacers or were they another brand. This is the first I've heard of this issue with spacers.

I think that's right, it was the same as the front if I recall so that makes sense. They were RR 1.25" and the studs still stuck out from the drum past the spacer a little bit. Wasn't a problem with that wheel though because they have open areas between the lugs.

I had no issues with the spacers, the lugnuts had just as much thread engagement as it did with the factory wheel on it. I was sure to check and double check.

That being said, they're on. I used
Amazon.com: Rugged Ridge 15201.11 Wheel Adapter 5" x 4.5" to 5" x 5": Automotive Amazon.com: Rugged Ridge 15201.11 Wheel Adapter 5" x 4.5" to 5" x 5": Automotive
Rugged Ridge Adapters 15201.11 They fit and worked perfectly.

Jeep has a Rubicon Express 3.5 Superflex lift.

Yes you need spacers to adapt the bolt pattern. Or you could do what jcr did with their shop xj and swap JK 44s under it.

I was at their show and shine this summer and it was there. I had to look at it a few times and the steering and stock wheels when it finally made sense.

I will probably go with some steel wheels or maybe splurge for something like Pro Comp 7069's as they will have a better backspacing.
