My old XJ has the 3.5" RE lift in it. Was purchased/installed back in 2003 and it is still sitting at ~4" of lift.

My buddy has it now but here is what it looks like with 31s on it:

I did, 3.75, probably (sye would be better), ones for a 4.5" lift because thats about how high the lift actually sits.

I have RE 3.5 super ride aal. It has been a great lift kit, pretty minor components. makes wheelin alot more fun. squeezing 32x11.5 under it. I would suggest going with the leaf pack for less sagging in the long run.

I have the RE3.5 super flex kit with the 35/36L OME shocks and stabilizer. My kit came with fixed lower CA's, 3.5" coils and 3.5" leafs also the GEN quick discos for sway bar which is now totally off. It's been a great lift for walker valley. I also started out with 31's. It's smooth on the road and performed great in the trails. I also added a 1.5" TC drop. Also had to drill new hole for the stock trac bar 1" to right of the lower mount hole. Also have 2deg shims under leafs. I have the 2001xj sport. I had no vibes at all!!. 1.5 YEAR later I added 2" coil spacers and the Rough country shackle relocation kit and 1.5" Tera shackles, upper and lower adjustable CA's and RE trac bar and the RE chromoly tie rod. Still have stock drag-link. I still have no vibes. I'm now running 33x12.50r15 bfg km1 mt's on soft8 cragars. I've also trimmed fenders and quarters.

I think the 3.5RE kit is perfect for beginner wheeler. That is if you install it yourself to gain priceless wheeling knowledge.

Also the 3.5" full RE leafs are way more capable with shackles than the 4.5" leafs. 3.5" with shackles allow for better shackle angle and much more flex. Then add the relocation brackets and the leafs will flatten out a little which is what you want for on and off road superiority. No BS guys but make sure you get shocks that can extend far enough for the insane rear travel your gonna gain. Best part no vibes inroad with only 1.5" TC drop. Just to let ya know haha! So pretty much the 3.5" RE kit is the shizzzz!!!! Yall

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst tire I've ever owned. Couldn't get a decent balance.
Screwed up wear on all 4 tires
Tore a sidewall on a smooth rock no bigger than your thumb.
punctured another rolling over a twig.
Yep...a damn twig.

I have an entirely Rubicon Express front suspension, and I can second that ride quality. Holy crap. What a step up from stock springs and spacers. Also, those 3.5 springs flex very, very well. but at the same time, they're not jello, they're stiff enough to dig into mud and such like you'd want.
