could someone please tell me what theb cranking rpm should be on 1996 jeep cherokee

My very rough estimate is maybe near 100 rpm or so, but that is only an estimate based on my ears.

Why you ask? Problems?

speed will very greatly with the voltage at starter motor.

Yes I'm running a megasquirt and I have cranking rpm set to high I think

My jeep lites off within 1/2 second ....90% of the time. If not i stop and try again and it fires off almost instantly. I don't think i ever go more than a second. Whats a megasquirt. I also have a mean green hi-torqe starter. You running a dist/ coil rail or coil pack
