so ive got an 01 with 3" lift and 31"s MTs. every time i change the oil i also rotate my tires. so i did that today and now im getting death wobble...?
i have never experienced death wobble before. i have only heard of it online. but now when i go above 40 MPH my front end starts to wobble side to side. steering wheel shakes too. when it gets near 50+ its starts to wobble even worse.
this is my DD and i need it for work. i cant have it acting this way. i double checked the wheel lugs and they are all tight.
so what could i have done??? i dont get it at all.
PLEASE HELP!

How did you rotate?Passenger rear to passenger front?Driver rear to driver front?Should have worked.......You prob just need to get them rebalanced,As they wear balance will change a lil...
i brought the fronts straight back to the rear and the rears crossed to the front
i should have brought the rears straight forward to the front and the fronts crossed to the back shouldnt i....?
ill change it tomorrow and see if the problem goes away.
thanks

Get them balanced again. I have some M/T tires too and everytime I rotate I have to balance them again. I get major death wobble around 45-50 mph too, but it goes away after a re-balance.

^^ This. Sounds like the back tires are no longer balanced. It is much harder to tell when the rears are out of balance unless they are way off. Easy to tell if you put them in the front though...cause you get the wobble. Go get them balanced and you should be fine.
thanks everyone!
this is my second set of these and i have never experienced this before... after many tire rotations (every 3K)
ill have them re balanced
