as far as sealing a choptop, you really only have 2 options.
1. Back of MJ cab (or home brew variant) welded in
2. some sort of convertible top
Personally, if (when) I flop mine, I will be chopping the top and making/having made a vinyl top that snaps on and makes it look like a slantback humvee when it is on.

Finally did some work to the body. Just need my doors so I can see how far off the damage is now. But we're damn close to having it straight. And it looks like I might be doing that chop after all with a full cage.

im throwing a mj rear wall in mine currently i plan on doing a 2 door rag top in the future but this one will be under construction at least til spring with the 4 link and motor swap. but if u need help with a chop tech questions ect. just hop on my build thread i try to keep it updated as much as possible. project black betty chop top. doing an inner and exo cage all with sourced bends until i can afford a pipe bender. very DIY build
Maybe do a chop (they beat me to it!) and use the cage to hold up a wrangler soft top kind of thing, custom made fabric stuff obviously. A local Jeep rolled near my house (in a ditch) and I was sad to see it go...Not many lifted Cherokees around here, it seems. Anyways I was really happy to learn a few months later that it had had a chop top done! But yeah, do a 2-door chop. It would be different than all the 4-door ones, and I think it'd look great. But only do the chop if you're sure you have enough strength in your unibody. Apparently the roof and doors, etc. aid in structural integrity....btw I'm no expert but love chop tops

I rolled my 93 back in '05 while towing an improperly loaded uhaul trailer moving from Kansas to phoenix AZ (yes my fault). It has an 8" lift and 33's so my dad came and got it rather than sacrificing it to a junk yard. I went over 1 and 3/4 times. Now my front end has a major frown and amazingly enough the only portion of the front of the cab that didn't crush was where my head was. We ended up chopping the cab off but did not put a cage or any reinforcement in it and it flops like a fish on the trails. I have recently acquired a 94 that I will transfer my lift and such onto. This one will most likely grow an interior roll cage if I water it just right.

Going to start the chop towards the beginning of 2014. Keeping full doors building custom cage and adding a soft top similar to a wrangler. Completely removable.

I'm sure if you keep an eye out at a local pull a part you'll find some decent doors. You might need to do a paint job but it won't be any different. Electrical should line up ok as long as they are similar doors
