Are you plating over those?

Looks like a big piece to get hung up on.

Thats what I did to mine for to make sure I could come down hard on them with out bending them up into the door. But I did not like the idea of them getting hung up so thats why I added the skids.
I used 11G steel btw. With the trusses behind them they should be fine and they've been abused. Some dents but who cares.

You did a nice job for a thanks giving project. Looks strong and sturdy and it's a good spot to use a high lift on.

yea, we only had a flux core HF welder, so welding upside down was difficult and what not. I stood on it and bounced and it didn't flex at all, also these are air tank ready with fittings in them for when i get a compressor and run that setup.

more pics tomorrow morning along with sealing the cracks and etc.

I don't know how good they would be holding air to be worth the effort. Not much capacity but lemme know how it works out.

between the two, i can pump each up to about 100psi before they start to balloon out, and thats more then enough to air up multiple tires, but as to long term air holding not so much because they do leak ever so slightly so after a few days they dont have much left in em. so they are good for a days wheeling trip atleast
