I am going to upgrade my crappy shocks to a less crappy shock, and im leaning towards bilstein 5100's. I have aftermarket LCA's with good bushings and new shackles with good bushings, but an AAL in the spring pack for my 3" lift. Will decent shocks improve my ride quality a noticeable amount? I lifted it 5 years ago and the suspension/shocks havent been updated since then fwiw. Thanks for any advice!

5100s for me gave a much more controlled solid feeling. They wont make up for bad geometry or harsh spring rate but for what a shock does they are very good. Most people seem pleased with them, myself included. Worth the money IMO.

I would say not justifiable. If someone is looking to buy a fox 2.0 I'd say that person might want to single out the purpose of their rig so they can spend their coin once and only once.. the bilsteins will be great for most applications
