Treadwright Guard Dogs. Look them up. They definitely make a 31x10.5R15, I had a set of them.

They are good tires for the price. The kedge grip ones are amazing on ice. They do not last as long as the normal ones though. Have had quite a few buddies run them as well with no problems. Hum a bit but the normal ones don't die... lol. Only tire I have had that lasted longer were Duratracs.

Ya ill probably stick with the normal ones my xj is my dd as well as my wheelin toy haha so I don't want em to wear out super fast. How feasible do you think bit would be to fit 31's under a stock 2000? I'm lifting it eventually just don't have the money to do everything at once.

They will fit. Backspaced wheels will help with rubbing your lower control arms but if you flex, you'll damage your fender flares so you might want to trim. Honestly though, you're better off buying proper 235s at stock height and saving up to install everything at once. Just my two cents.

Oh, and Guard Dogs kick ***. When mine wear out, I will purchase Duratracs for a proper comparison. Curious to see if the almost $100 difference in price is really worth it.

My tires are still in great shape so maybe I'll get the 31's with my tax return then save for a lift and just wait to install em. It's just lame having road tires on a 4x4 (I've got cooper trendsetters on there now) and thanks for the link big David I'll check that place out

Im running 285/75/16 guard dogs, they took a lot of weight to balance but grip well and wear great.

Thanks for the link. Pretty sure I'm gonna go with guard dogs that's what everyone has suggested now for lift. The zone offroad ones looked nice and not at a bad price point but I didn't see a 3.5"? The 3" isn't enough for the full range of motion and flex I want from my suspension with 31's and I think 31's with a 4.5" lift would look stupid ( unless someone has pics to prove me wrong) any suggestions for good companies that offer 3.5" lifts with full rear leaf packs ( not just ad a leafs)?

I originally wanted 33's I've heard a million people say you pretty much have to regear to keep any sort of mpg or power on the highway ( xj is also my daily driver). If that's not necessarily true I'd love to do 4 inches on 33's but then do you absolutely have to do sye going to a 4 inch lift? And if I didn't regear would it be a total dog on the highway? I think the 2000's come with 8.25 rear and d30 front at 3.55:1. I don't want to do anything I'll have to regear for and the reason for such big lift with not so big tires is I wanna get as much flex out of my suspension as possible before my tires start rubbing. I know I could fit 33's with a 3 inch lift but what kind of travel would I get without trimming? Promise I'm not lookin to be spoonfed information I'm just pretty dang fresh to jeeps and wanna make sure I can get the most capable vehicle I can with the budget I have. Biggest issue I'm running into is deciding on what brand of lift to use. Looking for a 3.5" somewhere in te 6-700 dollar range but there's not much out there besides Rough Country. Zone offroad has a 3" with a ton of nice options for about 680 I might just say screw it and jump on. With three inches how much flex could I get from 33's or 31's? Not really lookin for the worlds best wheeler more like something that'll get me to those huntin and fishin spots not many people have ever gotten to and doin the weekend warrior thing. All the help and advice so far is greatly appreciated by the way.

You're doing it wrong then lol
