Default Replacing the tie rod....

Hey everyone, i am almost finished installing my sexy new rubi express super flex lift on my 94 XJ and i know that i can replace the factory tie rod with a tie rod from a V* grande cherokee, as they are much thicker and stronger. Im pretty sure there are only certain years of grande cherokke i can get the tie rod from. Does anyone know what years those would be? Or have any tips? Thank you!

I hate buying any steering parts used when you can buy the upgrade from AutoZone all 3 pieces for less than $100 tax included.....They are Moog parts that they sell. You get long solid rod that will replace the hollow one on there now, a HD TRE and the sleeve.

This is a nice upgrade and a no-brainer anytime TR's need to be replaced, a direct bolt in also. You made a good choice, I did the same and my TR's were OK because of my lift, tire size and off road use .

X2 on buying new Moog parts. I bought mine through rockauto. You gotta buy the tie to end, the threaded sleeve, and the whole tie rod with the other end.
