Removing helper/ smallest leaf on RC 4.5 pack

Hope those pics work. Mounted the bracket to the rear where the bumper bolts up. To the original shackle bolt location and to the back floor of the jeep with a spacer cut to about 1". Feels very sturdy. And I'll have every opportunity to test it out at Easter jeep safari in Moab in another month. These are from the rough country kit just cut and modified. Forgot the pic of how it sits but it sits great now. Was able to avoid the more lift problem you get with shackle relocation kits!!!

i have 3" packs with 1.5" shackles. all RC. my shackles are @ a 45* angle and my ride is still stiff. now grant it; i only have about 200 miles on my lift. so maybe i'm talkin out of place here because i don't think 200 miles constitutes a broken in leaf pack.

Going back to the original post, I tried removing the helper (lowest leaf) from my RC 4.5 pack.
No reduction in lift aside from the 1/4" spring thickness.
Noticeable axle wrap when breaking.
I put them back on.
