All I have really done is took a punch and knocked out the factory pins and put 1/4" diameter bolts in their place. Speaker is taken out of the door and will be placed under the dash behind the holes for the factory tweeters on premium sound package vehicles

i did it with some creative punch making and a one pound sledge.

UPDATE: I am DONE with the front doors except for going to the junkyard and getting a pair of plugs from a rear door to seal off the hole the wires came through.

With the speakers in the dash, amazingly I can here them better, even with the doors off. I took it down the road, should have seen the look on a JK owners face when I passed him with no doors on my XJ

Quote: I don't know about you, but I am more than capable of lifting and supporting the door with one arm, so I wont be needing an extra set of hands...
Mine are designed kinda the same way. With power locks, windows, and power heated mirrors I'm able to do it by myself. The doors are heavy but its doable. Just put in one bolt at a time.
