Planning for longer travel shocks. I want to lower the front shock mount down to the lca mount to get some more up travel. I purchased some flat bottom shock tabs from ruff stuff.

Before i start cutting away i was going to see if anyone had any pics of their setup. Can the stock lca mount withstand the added force of a shock being mounted to it or am i looking for trouble

Why do you want more up travel? you need to be looking at down travel

the stock lca mount IS NOT strong enough. You should run something at least 3/16" thick and have it boxed in around the bottom as well. and be sure not to use your shocks as the bumpstops.

the lower the shock mount, the longer shock he can fit as well= more droop
