Moog is pretty decent as far as suspension and steering parts.
Four Seasons is pretty good for me.
Champion or NGK plugs are acceptable

Honestly, quite alot of parts are reboxed with different names, so watch out for that as well.

For most parts, make sure you keep receipts for any warranty that may apply.

Check out Rockauto.com. I only use Autolite AP-985 plugs in my 1997-99' Jeeps. 2000' and newer get APP-985 or XP-985 Iridium plugs that will outlast your Jeep. Mopar only for the water pump and Spicer ball joints and u-joints.

Why does everyone self label themselves as "newbies" in the first sentence of their post? No offense, but there is a post count under the avatar for a reason. The fact that you're a "newbie" doesn't really matter. Perhaps the correct statement should be, if necessary, "New to Jeeps" or "New to XJ 4.0's". We really don't care if you're new to the website, but having an idea of where you stand in the automotive knowledge area is what helps us determine how we speak, what words we use, and how simple or complex to explain something.

Are you new to Jeeps, or new to working on cars? Knowing this can help us to better suit your needs.

It's obvious from his question that he's new here and to Jeeps. He has 1 post, bought an XJ with a 6" lift and doesn't know what name brand parts to buy. That's why when I came here, I put in my sig I've had 18 Jeeps. I have 40,000 posts on another forum, but I'm not allowed to mention other forum names here.
