Bought a used aw4 for 75 bucks. Wanting to rebuild it myself. The question is should replace all the bushings? The rebuild kit only comes with

• Converter-pump bushing
• Case bushing

but there is a full bushing kit you can add not sure if I need it.

also wondering if there any upgrades that are worth the money to throw in there?

 

Aw4 is not a learner trans. If it is your first time, it will be an epic rebuild. Check out an exploded view of the unit, Every one of those parts has to be in, and installed correctly. There is about a million parts....... Not to talk you out of it, but go slowly.And very carefully
