I dont personally own either of those but I run with a guy who has the Detours bumper/carrier settup and I've watched him beat the crap out of it and its solid as can be. Based on that I would highly recommend the Detours, if I had the coin I'd already have one, for now I'll keep saving my pennies.

Yes.
I highly suggest ordering from this guy. He custom built my front, rear and tire carrier. I contacted him through eBay and we exchanged emails for a week or so until we designed the exact one I wanted. The final product we decided on had built in lights for front and rear, light tabs, a winch plate with holes, a built in jerry can holder, built in hi-lift carrier etc...
On top of that, his prices are incredible for the quality of the product. My bumpers are not cheap light weight steel, but ones that would survive a nuclear blast .
Why do I suggest him? great product, the best customer service/communication from a company and the prices are very reasonable for a custom built product.
Everything is at the powder coaters or I would send pictures of the final product.
His email is mopar1967@yahoo.com

I think Desert Rat is talking about me I have the Detours one. It is very well built, and stout. What I really liked about it when I was shopping was it has some quarter panel protection - something that few had. Also, the tire carrier was on the back of the bumper instead of the top, which I liked for cosmetics...the big hinge does not cover the reverse light.
After running it a couple years, my only complaint is that very thing - having the carrier on the back leaves the latch/handle more vulnerable to hitting things, if you find yourself coming off a lot of sharp ledges. It is quite tough - I have hit a lot and it hasn't broken the handle off. I would buy again from Detours. I also would like to see the tire mount sucked closer to the hatch, and maybe pitched a bit to match the window...I think they may be built like that now, though.
