Hey everybody. I'm about to put a 4.5 inch rough country on my 98 xj and I keep hearing that the rear shocks are bad about rusting into the body. But my jeep have never been on a coast or in a place where snow is a all the time thing. Will I have this problem? Thanks

Crawl under there and take a look.
If you're worried about it then spray some PB blaster on the bolts a few times for a week so you won't have that problem.
Edit. PB blaster won't alway work but don't worry. There are threads on here with solutions to this problem. I personally just knocked out the broken bolt and welded nut with a hammer and punch and then fished bolts through the opening in the frame. Pretty easy fix.
