Default Rear Shock Cross Over Mount

Looking into improving my ride quality since I'm running 7'' on long arms with leaf sliders, I want to get better shocks than my RC set. Since I'm getting a bit of a kick in the rear due to running a full 6.5 pack. I'm looking into RE shocks, but came across this mount for the rear. It looks nice and practical.. if it works. A friend of mine said he was looking into it but said people apparently said it makes the ride quality worse.?

The more you angle the shocks the less effective they are

To get the most out of your shocks you want them as vertical as possible, and as close to the outside of the rig as possible.

That thing does the opposite

It allows you to fine-tune your rear suspension to suit your needs.

there is nothing wrong with this, it allows you to run longer shocks without hacking into the interior, you said some people reported bad ride quality after instaling, thats because in most cases you're not supposed to use the normal lift kit shocks, like ktm said more angle reduces the effect of the shocks and the article says so as well "The reclined shock position also provides a mechanical advantage which improves ride comfort
on shocks that would otherwise be too firm if installed in the
vertical position."

they dont say it directly but this is meant to imply that you need firm'er shocks for this set up and like serious said its for fine tuneing suspention

Is there a way to cut in the rear for like a shock tower in the cargo area, without doing a loop to eat up space in the back?
