JB conversions makes a quality SYE and also sell a super short SYE if interested.

So just measured, from the oil slinger on my tcase to centerline on my diff is about 37".
The front shaft measured about 32"..

The ZJ driveshafts can work per the chart. Tom Woods is hardly the last word in driveshafts. There is Adam's in Nevada & you can just go to your local driveline shop and have them make you what you want.

Oh man, some pricey stuff there.
Not sure which SYE I'll go with yet, but it will be this week. And I just got a front shaft from a 94 grand Cherokee V8 yesterday for $26. So, starting to get her parts now.

Summit racing has the Advanced Adapters SYE for 189 shipped. Got mine in about 4 days.

I run an SYE with a 2000 auto. 231. D35. I used a front shaft in the rear but it was about 1/4" shy of max slip. I had it lengthened just to be safe.

could've grabbed a zj shaft (longer) or an 8.25 which I would get no matter what.
