Rear Leaf Springs going flat
Hey guys this problem has been bugging me awhile. I had put a 2 inch lift on my 2001 xj. I got the shackle and coil spacers. When I put it all on my leaf springs went flat. Was thinking maybe they were just bad and just worn out. So I order the Dorman 929-301 leaf spring. Slapped them on and they still go flat. If anyone could help me i would appreciated it

I wouldn't have bought a dorman leaf spring, I would have actually gone with a heavier spring. Basically what your seeing is almost the norm for leaf springs and when you buy the cheap ones they show right off the bat. If they will allow it, send them back and buy some rusty's 2.5" leaf packs, or its a great time to use this as an excuse to invest in a bigger lift.
If memory serves right CJ 2.5" rears measure up to the same length as XJ rears when in the lower heights. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
