I have a dilemna. I am building an overland style XJ that will have a roof rack and tent and also tow maybe 1000 pounds. I bought a rubicon D44 rear axle that is already trussed and set up for 4-link. I am worried about the ability of the coils to carry all the load and maintain good driveability until I get to the trail. I know I can get stiffer coils but how does it affect the ride quality? Should I just ditch the 4 link and put springs back on it?
