What you could do is drill a small hole and fish them thru and use quick connects that are water proof comming right next to the hinge and then rtv the holes it will be clean look too

That's what I did for my Dakota, very happy with how it turned out for the $28 I have invested between the lights and the can of bedliner I sprayed the bumper with.
