Need some help, My jeep is on the road with my son driving to Moab. The rear bump stops have a 1" spacer under them but with the added weight of the load he is nearly riding on the bump stops.
I need the bolt size so he can buy some and remove the bump stops and gain some rear travel. We are good on tire clearance since some recent mods before the trip.
So what are the stock size of the rear bump stop bolts?
US or Metric?
I'm sure it is not as easy as 1/4"-20x1".
Thanks.

Now looks like we need to modify/raise the exhaust where it crosses over the axle. Currently with the 1" spacers and on the bump stops, at full compression the Artec truss hits the exhaust and still have tire clearance and 2" shock travel. So can't take out the spacers just yet.
Plan when return from Moab, new exhaust from the header back. Previously dented the front crossover at Rausch. Raise the axle crossover as close to the floor as possible. Wrap or insulate as needed. Then remove the 1" bump stop spacer and gain some more travel.
