RE long arm swap

Does anyone happen to know if a RE longarm from a manual XJ is the same as an auto?I bought another Xj last night but the body is really rough and I like an auto anyway so I was gonna swap the lift to an auto?I looked on there site it looks like the same part number to me but I didnt buy the lift, just want to make sure before I buy the second Xj to swap all the lift and axles too.Thanks in advance as usual

not sure. i would give them a call and ask. for some companies it matters but for others it doesnt.

im pretty sure it should be the same as long as its not the puegot trans

I believe this is correct. The trans adapter has a bunch of holes in it to handle multiple offsets.

I've never looked that close to a 5 speed but I ASSume the crossmember bolts to the same holes on the frame as it does in an auto.

What I can tell you is that there is only 1 set of holes in the crossmember for the adapter - and the adapter only has one set of holes for mounting to the crossmember.
