depends how high ya wanna go. and i would advise against re leaves. ever since a few years ago thier springs have been made overseas for cheaper. i havent had an re pack hold its advertised height for more than a month and the axle wrap was horrible and eventually the springs wore to a permanent "s" shape. i am however very happy with my clayton leaf packs. more leaves, military wrap and made in canada.

RE is still made in the same plant by many of the same employees. Still the same great products as before. Unless you have personal experience with their products since the change in ownership your doing a disservice to the membership and vendors here. I've been selling RE products since they became available again and have not had 1 warranty return...and even that was questionable. (Yes it was from a member of this forum.) Not a single issue regarding fit, form, function or quality....NONE.

RE springs are made offshore, but don't believe for a second that they are the only ones.

So if you have in fact had, or are having a problem with an RE product I urge you to contact the vendor you bought it from. I can assure you that RE stands behind their products and will resolve any legitimate issues you may have. Your vendor should be bending over backwards to assist you with any issues you have as well.

I don't have any experience with the new springs but I've been running the same RE leaves, and they have a military wrap as well, for years and they may have lost 1/2" and flex better than most leaves I've dealt with.

What size lift you running. Cant see it if you have it on your profile since on the mobile cf. I have heard a lot of great feed back about their 3.5" rear springs but not much about the 4.5" or 5.5". I know with the 3.5" a lot of people end up with 4". So does that mean with the 4.5" you will end up with 5"ish too. Plus a 2" shackle on there how much would I end up with

yes the usually run a bit tall.

A shackle will add the full height (2") in most cases (vertical shackle). If you have relocation brackets to fix the angle to the perfect 45 degree angle, lift will be roughly half that (1")

I'm running 4.5" with a 2" shackle and a 1" solid block, crazy combo huh. It gives me enough to clear my 38s even with all the tools and gear I carry.

i had to replace my re packs a few years ago, so i went with the 5.5 inch pack instead of the 4.5 my kit came with, only because i knew i was gonna go higher eventually anyways.
so that added with my 2 inch shackle levels out my rear with my 8 inch coils up front without using any blocks.

they were the same price...
