Default RC drop brackets

So im running 3.5 inches of lift and i was wondering if the RC lca drop brackets will make a big difference or not, since i have had the lca's bind against the axle before...or will the stock uca's keep me from flexing further still? I would be running stock length lca's too.

Thanks!

Sure, they'll make a significant difference.

They'd lower your LCA angle, improve your ride and should maximize your suspension travel. You could also do a little grinding on your LCA mount to assist travel.

stock uppers are usually ok to about 6".. the main issue for swapping them out, is the rubber bushings dont flex well. plus caster adjustment.

I have a 3.5" lift with RE drop brackets, the stock uppers are fine but I have RE fixed lowers and my axle is pushed out quite a bit, I'm looking for adjustable lcas for Christmas but the ride is better than stock and I haven't gotten to flex it yet but I'm sure it does wonders. Since the uppers will be dropped as well it gives flex a huge difference compared to stock location

You simply don't need them at 3.5" of lift.

I have found that the control arm drops work best at 5-6 inches of lift

Can you just do the bottom (lca) and not the top?

Anyone do this? Does it mess the geometry up?

I was going to lower my lca mount two inches. I have a 3in lift.

You're going to negatively affect your ground clearance.......

so they wont make that noticeable of a difference?
and im not super concerned with ground clearance...id rather have a few more inches of down travel.

will it really throw off my geometry and make setting castor a disaster? hey that rhymes!
