IMHO... i'd either get a CSF 3 row or Griffin. i've seen too much BS with american eagle and champion radiators on the webs... some people get them and theyre fine but most have issues and the CS sucks with both brands.

Put a CSF in a buddies, much bigger than factory with solid end tanks to boot, wouldn't go another way if we needed more.

I installed a 3 row champion in my dads XJ when the factory one started leaking. About 2 weeks later that one started leaking right around the middle of the core. We called about it and they wanted us to pay to ship it back and then they would determine if it was warranty or not. Wasnt a fan of that so we threw one of my spares in it and the champion is laying around waiting to be fixed some day.

I hate to be that guy to say it but I ordered cheap 3 row aluminum off of eBay for 175$ shipped. Boy was I surprised, it was all hand welded and pretty damn solid. It works very good, jeep cools down to 180 on 100* day no problem. I am 110% happy with it and I'd do it all over again.

I see no problem with the stock radiator.

No typically there isn't, but in my case we see 125* days out here in the desert. So when I leave the lake with my standups it sure is nice to have the AC on and drive home without worrying about overheating.

Any idea what seller you used for that radiator? I bought an all-metal one from O'reilly's a three years ago, but it had packing foam injected into the radiator. Most of it came out, but I didn't feel comfortable installing a radiator with rattling crap in my XJ. I have a feeling I'm going to want to replace mine again in the next few months.

I got a champion 2 row from a ebay dealer. It works great, never have issues with it. It is my second but the first one met an early end from me dropping something on it when it wasn't installed. It was a careless mistake, but no radiator is meant to survive that.

Just my .02, I've ordered two from the same guy and both came to me in great shape.
