R.E Leafs not lining up
Hopefully I am posting this in the correct section if not I apologize in advance.
So my issue I'm having is the leafs don't seem to want to line up with the front bolt holes. I did some research and I can't seem to find someone who has the same problem. Here is a picture of my shackle
It is at 90 degrees not angled forward or backward. Now here is a picture of the front bolt hole I'm trying to get the leaf to
So I would assume that losing the shackle and moving it forward would be the way to solve this. However I haven't seen any shackle at a angle that faces towards the Jeep. I've only seen them angling to the rear. After doing more research I saw a shackle relocation kit. Which seems to move the mount hole forward but achieve the correct angle for the shackle. I found this how to write up

Would this fix the issue I'm having? Or am I just installing leafs wrong? I have a 2000 xj 8.25 rear end. I went with a Rubicon express 3.5 lift with band new leaf packs. I bought this jeep with those shackles installed. So I gave no idea what they are.
Thank you for the help.

Shackle relocation brackets are great. That isnt your problem yet. Install the front eye first. Then loosely attach the axle. Use the weight of the vehicle by jacking the axle to compress the springs. You will likely need to let your shackles swing way forward to line up. Once the Jeep is on the ground you torque everything. Best of luck.
