Keep in mind that the shims are not XJ specific, they can be used with any 2.5" wide leaf spring and not all springs use the same size centering pin.

The 3/8" pin in the kit is the correct size for the RE leaf springs (Per RE).

Yes you have to install the new shackles. Without them your back end will set lower than the front and you won't have proper articulation either.

ya threads didnt fit the shims, its ok though i just took the shims to work and drilled them bigger, i work in a machine shop so i have access to everything possible lol. only problem im having now is trying to get the bolts out from the stock leaf springs and the upper bolts of the shocks.

btw frank i got the long arms yesterday, holy **** they're beefy!!! i love them, thank you so much! i cant wait to get them on!
