I have not done it yet but I was going to drill a hole in the low points and put a flap or some sort of check valve under it so I could hose it out but it will seal up if I drive into water. Unfortunatly I drowned my last xj before I got that far so it ruined the carpet.

I just had a thought. I live on a hill so I might park it up hill, put a little water in and see where it pools, then drill my drain holes there. That will give the mud somewhere to go, and I was planning on drilling maybe a 3/4" hole for a drain. Remember, this is only a thought. I have not even so much as crawled under there to see what my options are. I just figured since I live on a hill I might as well make it work for me.

maybe its just me but my xj has drainholes already in it. they just arent located very well. water only flows down to a certain point then pools elsewhere. just gotta drill a new hole the same size, file it down, and pick up stock rubber plugs from jeep. now i had all the water drained out, but i just wanted to know how everyone gets it clean clean.

i went to the detail shop yesterday to ask them and he was pretty much clueless because well... who brings a bedlined interior jeep to a detailer? aside from that, he told me to get a brush, all purpose cleaner, scrub the whole thing then powerwash it out, and whatever water is left after draining the inside pick up with a wet vac.... it just seems like a long overly drawn out process. there should be an easier way.
