I have 1996 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0L Straight 6. I have a problem with what I think is something with my fuel system but would like others opinions, and what help I can get. The problem is that I went mudding a few weeks ago and did some doughnuts. The engine shut off and "loaded up." I let it sit for a few minutes and it was fine. Ever since then, if I floor it, it will load up quickly, and will shut off. Now, I went to the gas station and filled up. When I went to start it up, my gas gauge went way below the E, and wouldn't start. I thought maybe it was the fuel pump but I just waited a few minutes and it was fine. For the past few days it has been doing this unexpectedly. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor as the throttle was sticking a couple months ago. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know as I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
