you can get a high flow cat at a decent price if your worried about exhaust tone. where i live its not illegal, we have no emissions testing. BUT on here its aginst the rules.

i dont know of anywhere to get new down tubes with highflow pre-cats. but you can replace the regular one with a high flow. i ran a high flow cat with a stainless borla 2.5in catback and it sounded amazing!!! pricey though.

no, it's illegal everywhere.

its federally illegal, It is an EPA mandated law. so as long as you're in the US, and you drive a 1986 or newer vehicle you are required to run a cat.

Well said N20!! Thread closed....no discussion of removal of emissions equipment allowed on CF....PERIOD!!

Check our vendor MUDFROG out....they have smoking deals on high flow cats, and they are very well built, I run one...
