Ok, your opinion is duly noted. Loud and clear.
Seems as though you must not have bothered to read the reviews that I linked nor the reviews on google. The BBB rates Clearwater at an F.
I was hoping for a larger sampling of people. You know, maybe even someone with experience with the same situation I find myself in.
Preferably someone that had even heard of Promaxx, formerly known as Alabama by the way...
Okay.. Im running the Clearwater head.. Have had it on for about 4 years and all is great.. Yes I looked into the Promaxx and many others,, But like ppl have said,, Clearwater was the one everyone said go with..So I did never looked back.
As for bad reviews for Clearwater I think thats more along the lines for some other crap heads they have for Chinese 4 banger cars.. Not the 4.0 head on jeeps. And most of the the PPL crying are saying the guy is rude or wont return calls when they want him to call,, give me a break..
Get the Clearwater or the Promax... Better then what you have now right?

I can't weigh in as far as comparing the two. I don't have any hands on experience with either tbh. I just know we sell Promaxx and they seem to be very popular as far as the diesel world goes. That usually means a good product lol. I've seen nothing but good reviews on this forum for clearwater too. I believe you'd be able to sleep comfortably at night with either decision.
Honestly, the Clearwater head is more tried and true but that should work just fine. Not going to really see an improvement over stock to be honest, but whatever floats your boat
Just for completeness of this thread, if you watch this video - at the 10:55 mark you can see the Clearwater Cylinder head in detail, and the guy in the video points out the increased thickness of the head between the #3 and #4 cylinders;
